I joined NAM in November and as of 10:30 PM EDT I official joined the club when I signed the paperwork on my 06 PH/S MCS with 11,000 miles. It's got the following:
Sport package
Premium Package
Cold Weather
Xenon
Harmon Kardon
Gauge Cluster
Interior Chrome Package
Panther Black Leather
I love it. I had been thinking about holding off for an 07, but I couldn't pass up the Purple Haze (which I have always loved). Now I have to resist the mod bug until after vacation and various home improvement projects that are planned for the summer.
I got home last night and thought I could snap some pics before it got dark, but when I grabbed the camera I saw that the batteries were dead. It's re-charging today, so I hope I can get home before dark. Wifey keeps making fun of me about being on here. She asked me the other night if I was going to start dragging her to car shows and making her sit in the sun all day (father-in-law had a 'vette for awhile and did this to my mother-in-law often). I told her that there was a British Car Show coming up in a couple of weeks in Columbus, so she might want to buy a big floppy hat!

Welcome to NAM! Sounds like you're in Mini Heaven already! Happy Motoring! And do post pics. I don't think I've saw a purple haze color. Sounds awesome.

That rocks. Floppy hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, an always-charged camera, detailing products, and Nav - all the essentials before you stick the key in the ignition.
Maybe by this time next year your wife will have caught the MINI bug and have to have her own! It took me 3 months from the day my husband got his until I signed the paperwork for my own. He bought his June 9th and I was driving mine home on Sept 10th
