I picked up an 07 astro black mcs saturday. I love it.
I still have my 87 gti and I'm selling my 94 golf. I transitioned from Volkswagens to Mini's because of the similar style from my gti to new mini.
Thats how she sits today.
For anyone who is interested here are some pictures of my gti.
I can't wait for the aftermarket to catch up with the new model mini.
The gti had a vr6 motor transplanted from a 92 corrado. Corrado sport seats. Bottom end bored and the head gasket matched. Euro bumpers, lights blah blah blah.
I love my mini and I know i made the right choice. I'm looking forward to the get togethers and cruises.
Oh and yes the gti is getting painted silver, like the engine bay. That'll be when i'm adjusted to this new car budget.
