Wow, just called and found out my PW 18 Cabrio is "currently in production"... with a completion date of May 2nd...which was exciting to hear BUT I have lease I am paying for through June! How long does it take to get it on a boat and get it to the dealer?? Will the dealer expect me to pick it up immediately?
Wow, you're the first person I've heard who would be happy waiting!!!
It varies, but on the east coast you could expect about 3 weeks after production. If you're on the west coast, 4 weeks. Longer delays are possible, if not too common, so I hope the timing works out for you! Read through some other production week threads to get a sense for how it's going for people.

Congrats, Gunn! I'm also an 18'er, and my MCS is scheduled to be completed on the 3rd. You should be getting your car on the 1st or 2nd week of June if all goes as planned, talk to your MA to see if you can arrange for a slightly later pickup date when the car is closer to delivery. Check out the existing week 18 thread for more!
My MCS from production week 18 is now booked on WWL ship "Integrity". The voyage number is EB718-ITG. Port of destination is New York, NY. Don't know when it sails yet and I don't know call sign either. Now I'm nervous.
