buyer beware miniworks

on the 2nd of march I placed a order for a dinan intake and alta filter to fit this unit. with victor of mini works.but unfortunately i did not receive the items. i am sorry to say but i do not think he is a man of his word .i have chased this vendor up every week but only get poor excuses . Ihave now had to resort to getting a refund via paypal. if he was a vendor in the uk he would not last six months.

I dug up this posting after just having realized that I'm never going to receive my order. I ordered an exhaust system from him. He was supposed to ship it on 10/3. I waited, then called. He told me that it was going to go out that day. 2 weeks later I still have not received it. I called his number and it's disconnected. His website is for France and Portugal only. So I disputed the charge with my credit card company.

Did you get your money back? Is there any way that the moderator of NAM can remove his profile to prevent him from posting here any more?

Something makes me think we will never hear from Victor again in the US.

BTW, BMW filed suit against Mini Works LLC in Federal District Ct in the Arizona District earlier this month.

They have been removed from the Vendor Directory as well.

Makes me glad I got my Intercooler from someone else! His other company, www.polepositionusa.com and the european websites are still up.

about all you can do unless you want to call a lawyer in AZ to file suit locally to get your money back.

I'd suggest this would hurt more than help. The best thing that could happen besides getting the chargeback approved would be for him to post here and be held accountable. That probably won't happen (if he's smart) because of the pending litigation.

and +1 for getting the GP intercooler elsewhere...glad I made that call too.
