Hey, ya'll. its been awhile since I posted here (since before it was called NAM MINi Motoring I think) but I've changed jobs and have ALOT less time on my hands.
Anyhow, I thought I'd buy a few rounds and clink a few glasses. I've placed an order and deposit on a new Chili Red Cooper S and decided to trade in my '03 'lectric blue S. 53,000 plus miles and the dealer made me an offer I caint refuse. Damn, these cars don't depreciate do they?
I'm lovin' it. Chili is in production now (just chacked again for the 4th time this week) and hopefully here in four weeks or so. Geez, it seems like I've been here before.
Oops, may have spoken too soon. The trade-in value has changes quite alot in the fifteen days between. Don't know if I'm willing to do it since I'm almost done with my payments and the car has been very good so far.
I finally get the i-Pod connector that works through my wheel. I've heard the new one is between $550 to $900 installed. Thats a killer! Mine is a Dinan (?) with a MUCH lower pricetag and easy to install.
Oh, well, its nice to be welcomed back anyway.
