Greetings!
Uh huh, Uh huh...
This is George, saying hello from the heartland! I am awaiting my new MCS, which is currently crossing the pond, about four days out from Southampton on the good ship Patriot! My moniker of superbumble pretty much says it: Mellow Yellow with a yellow color line, black roof. I have been pleasantly surprised so far that the car is just two or three weeks away, when I didn't expect it for another six!

Welcome Superbumble.
From the heartland? Maybe we'll cross paths sometime. Enjoy the new toy when it gets here. You're sooo close.

Congrats on your purchase.
Don't forget you can track where your car is once it's on the dock at Southampton awaiting a boat:
http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?f...q_tracking_usa
This info is more up to date from what you get from the 800 #.
Once you get a VIN # you should be able to find out the name of the ship your car will be loaded on. Then track it all the way to port of entry.
With my car, it was initially booked on a ship then later bumped off to another ship. This added only a few extra days. This is not a unusual occurance so don't worry if your car gets bumped.
