Hello for NJ

Hi,
I live in flooded Central NJ but that hasn't stopped me from driving my new Hot Metallic Orange Convertible S on dry land!

I love driving this car tho' I do find the seats way too narrow and I'm a small person. How do you big guys manage? Will these seats break-in?

I've already picked some good tips in the forums.

Welcome

I'm a longtime MINI owner in NJ with an IB/IB 03 MCS.

My sump pump is still turning on every so often. Hopefully we won't see anything like this again for a while. I need to mow my grass.

I've generally found the MINI seats fairly comfortable but my main basis of comparison are Subaru seats which I generally find difficult on long trips.

Again, welcome to NAM.

Welcome aboard!

But hey, it could have been like the aftermath of Hurricane Floyd.

As for the seats, they work for me.

I must say this is the one time i'm actually HAPPY that my MINI isnt here yet -- (she's at the VDC still, due to be delivered VERY shortly) i'm awfully glad i didn't have to get her and then hold off on driving because of all the flooded roads here!

Snug seats in Essex county

The lateral supports on the sport seat do get uncomfortable sometimes, but only when I'm slouching to one side or another.
As soon as I sit up straight, it's fine.
Maybe my car will accomplish what numerous girlfriends, teachers and my mother never could.
