I really feel like I saw something about this on NAM...even did a search and NOTHING!!!!!!
Just got Scarlett last night and in getting to know her, we found an English coin in the little drink holder in front of the shifter...
Isn't this something that they do at the plant to remind us where our precious babies originated???? Cause WE FREAKIN' LOVE the concept and idea behind it.
Please help me answer this mystery and sleep better tonight.
Hi,
I meant to post this earlier but we found a US penny in the back seat of Nigel on our drive home. We thought the coin in the car might be a MINI thing. Anyone else find one?

Hopefully I will post pics later today when Hubby emails them to me. And you will get to see Scarlett...or...ahem...Penny, Moneypenny, Pence. in the showroom...
She's a dirty, dirty girl today ... lol...had a downpour yesterday.
I got no currency in my MINI. But this did give me a good Idea. I might have one of my friends in england send me a coin of the realm for Angel. I might check my change jar, I may have one hidden in there.
My MA just called to see if I had any questions. I started to laugh and said yes, I DO have a question...
Asked about my precious penny and he said he'd never heard of that but that maybe Mini in the Woodlands would buy them and put them in all of their cars! I told him it was a GREAT idea!
I guess you can order those at the bank...and buy them that way....
I found a Japanese yen coin in a '73 Datsun that I had bought new...it was under the spare tire in the boot. I don't remember the denomination, but I figured that a factory worker probably had to walk home after losing his/her bus fare.
i hope to go on a tour of the MINI factory in Oxford when thy recommence the tours later this year and i will mention about coins being left inside if i get the chance.
