Stormy Weather

I only have owned my MINI for about 2 weeks now. Tonight was the first time i had to drive it through a violent thunderstorm. I know the more i drive it, the more i like it. But i have to admit...while there was a lot of cars pulled over waiting for the storm to pass.......my Mini just kept going like it was another day on the road. I felt totally comfortable in it,and it brought me home without any complaint lol. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

Brand new tires, at the correct pressure and a good alignment all contribute to how well a car does in wet weather. Because you're car is brand new, all those things will be fresh as well.

I'm not taking anything away from the actual car (we love ours!), I'm just putting it in perspective. (for future reference)

I'm glad you love it!

Looking forward to my first rain. I love listening to the ping of the rain on the roof.

Rain...rain....! My MCS hopes never to see another rain storm. Just sunny Southern California days and cloudless Southern Californian nights.

So now the question is, does it get rained on at sea or is it in a crate?

Storms missed here and hit lower western PA

New tires are great in the Rain, channel water perfect, now you need RainX, I love that stuff. Everyone pulled over and I can see without using the wipers.

Indeed it is raining here in the Bay Area - I didn't watch the news, and then spent a little chunk of my day waxing my commuter.

An hour later I was halfway to work when the rain started :(

It never fails. If you want it to rain, wax your car.

I picked my MINI up on a Friday afternoon, drove a lot Saturday and Sunday--beautiful weekend. Then Monday afternoon it started pouring. I drove home from work in a horrible rainstorm; both me and HYPER J survived! I called it a very good bonding experience with the new MINI!! Love it!!
