Hello All. My name is tim Baker and I just ordered a HO MCSC from Mini of concord. They were the only place I found in the Bay Area that would not charge over msrp .. It turns out that was only on the S convertibles but that is what I wanted anyway so good luck for me. Went with all the options including the LSD except for leather in a nod to economy . I went with the web rims too which I thought were a nice addition. I figure I can redo the seats if I want down the road for less probably anyway. I put our tag on the map too so wave if you see us.
Of course I wont be recieving it till about early sept at the earliest so let the waiting begin. By the way the north bay where i live hasw lots of great roads with which to bond with the mini. I was very impressed by the handling and pep. I like to drive high performance motorcycles and spend alot of time at the track. This is kind of like a four wheel motorcycle my wife can enjoy too. Whe does do short jaunts on the street up highway one and such but all the gear I make her wear is knda a turnoff for her. Cant wait to put the top down
Niello in Sacramento won't charge over MSRP either. That's where we ordered ours from.
Mini Roads: Hwy 1 going north out of Mill Valley
Hwy 25 going south from Hollister
Hwy 120 to Yosemite
Hwy 128 from Santa Rosa to Jenner.

i had two firends that got thier "S" from East bay MINI is norcal and they didnt charge them over MSRP.
Not sure where that is Maybe in Pleasanton? The mini seems popular in the Bay area . Now that I'm looking i see lots. I have a prius too which has its own qualities but the MINI beats it on fun factor . Prius has geek factor hands down.
