Guys,

I bought a new valve cover as mine was leaking. Part n° 11127646555
On the rear, there is a small red hook that I should remove to put instead a small cap which is included with the valve cover.
Should I need to put this small cap as I have an EU model ?(the note state that it is only for US model).
What is the role of this small piece ?

Its just a plug that is set there in place for multiple applications, you pull it and replace it with the little plug in the bag for MINI. It's for shared engines on the Peugeot/ Citroen side, so in those cars they have different set ups.

Do you know the diameter of these hoses ? SKU 11657570465
Also, is it the same diameter for the actuator ?

Thanks for the support !
So I have changed the longest hose but for the other ones, I am not so sure if I can replace it as it dont look like the same. The other hoses are rigid and smaller.
Can I replace it or not ? Why these ones are rigid ?

This week end, I will change thoses pieces:

Some require a hard pipe do to the increase of the vacuum pulled. That's my guess. I would try to find something close, also note it has a protective cover so down the road it will not rub a hole in the engine bay. Yoy might need to find flex netting to cover it and not melt.
I would replace them in that one part or all at once so you don't rebuild then find out a low-cost parts held up the completion on this big build.

Guys, i removed the turbo.
Is the wastegate should stay in that position without vacuum?
Also I put a hand pump on the actuator but nothing moves. It pumps, keep the pressure but the shaft dont moves. Is my actuator down?

I am going to move this to the Gen2 Stock Problems/Issues area. You are into the nuts and bolts of the car and that is best place.

Good pictures.

Thats what the replacement and stock MINI turbo do when they come in a box new.
