New MINI S owner in MA!
Hi All,
My name is Ryan and I just picked up a leftover 2014 MINI Cooper S Hardtop yesterday! This is my first time in the MINI brand (I'm a VW guy at heart, but I wanted to try something different), and I couldn't be more excited!
I also couldn't be more excited to join all of you guys and gals at NAM! This is easily one of the best MINI forum sites around and I'm sure I'll get to know a bunch of you better as time goes on .
A little info about the car:
It's a 2014 S Hardtop 6spd automatic finished in White Silver with black roof, with the Premium Package #2 (incl. sunroof, auto on/off headlights and wipers, and auto climate control, but NOT harmon kardon), Cold Weather Package, and 17" Cosmos Black Wheels.
Here's a pic from yesterday when I took delivery (I haven't decided on a name yet ). More to come soon!
Cheers!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
I snapped some more pics of the car this afternoon while I was out for a hike in the woods. I really understand now what you all mean by "go-kart" handling! This has to be one of the best front wheel drive cars I've ever driven .
I'm dying to drive it a bit harder, but alas, I'm still within the 1,200 mile break in period and need to play it safe :(

MINIs on Top does look very cool, but I've never driven the Mt. Washington auto road. It can be a very scary drive from what I hear...lots of switchbacks and sheer cliffs
But then again, I guess that's what makes a great driving road, right?

Since the drive up in in convoys, speed is very slow...heck I did it in about 50 foot visibity for the last half mile last time....with 40 mph winds, at about 40°f......
Sometimes its great....sometimes not so great, but still a fun weekend!!
