Been in Neutral long enough!
Hello, thought I should finally get into First Gear!
I've liked the mini since I was a kid & the MINI as an adult. Had a couple of the Mk1 mini Saloons (1963, 1965), what a blast! When my children were elementary school age, it was in a mini they learnt how to drive a standard around the farm (important to start them out right). They still talk about it when the family gets together, changing first flat, digging out car when stuck in the field, giving their Grandmother the ride of her life (grey hairs at no additional charge). It was a sad day when I said goodbye to my mini.
Recently my wife & I bought a 2008 MINI Copper S Hatch. I CAN'T STOP SMILING!!!! We are enjoying the car a lot. You know....when you make an excuse, any excuse, just to take the car for another drive.
Before I go, a BIG thanks to all of you out there who have posted on NAM. Your posts have been very helpful and at times entertaining as well.
