Because one was not enough ...
... We bought another one ... And so a 1 MINI household becomes a 2 MINI household. If that's wrong, I don't want to be right.
My hubby, cruiserofland, and I bought a WC50 about 6 months ago off NAM (Hi smyers528!) ... and one was not enough. 6 months later, we added an F56 to the family. After kicking around a couple of vehicle ideas for me and doing various calculations, another just made sense! Well, sense to us anyway ...
So, I'd like to introduce Oliver. I wasn't keen to wait the 10 weeks for a custom built one to arrive from Oxford to the West Coast so took a stroll around MINI of Stevens Creek to see what fit our criteria. We left the next day with Oliver. Went with the automatic since I hate driving a stick in traffic (which is what most of my daily driving is, here in the South Bay ...). The WC50 is a stick so I can get my fill driving it on the weekends when the hubby will let me.
We went with Silicon Valley MINIs today on the Fall Rally to the Coast and I feel so much more comfortable behind the wheel of this fantastic little car. Before, I didn't have a good feel for how it drove (just that it was fun! ). Now, after getting some beautiful twisties under our collective belt, Ollie and I are ready for more! Great drive and met some great people, even though it was a bit wet. Looking forward to many more miles together!
Excited to join the NAMily and learn more about these fun little machines. Have a couple of small mods planned but nothing major .... yet!
