Was gonna order a 2010 but found and bought a 2009 on the lot

I'm the happy new owner of a 2009 Dark Silver Clubman S. It was pure luck that I found the car with the exact (almost) specs I wanted on the lot: convenience pkg, premium pkg, and getting satellite radio and arm rest installed tomorrow.

I do want to upgrade the wheels to 17", and would like recommendations whether i should do it through the dealer (I'm leaning toward the 5 star pace) or find comparable ones online (tirerack). Thanks guys

MINI wheel are ridiculously expensive and heavy. Find something close at Tire Rack. The wheels I have are close replica of the JCW 18" wheels that cost $750 a corner (tire and wheel) and I got mine for $200 a corner.

Lots of discussion about this in the tire and wheel forum.

Congratulations in finding what you wanted this late in the 2009 season. Saved a few bucks. You will save some more bucks by upgrading from 16"ers to 17"s by going to Tire Rack or some other tire outlet versus buying from MINI. You will also be able to avoid the run flats.

It's your lucky year!
