Woot! The WW tracking page has Vera booked on the Fedora, departing tomorrow, arriving in NY/NJ on 11/12. Snoopy happy dance!! Hope Vera remembers to pack sunscreen -- she's red enough already. Anybody else sailing with her?
Sadly it got delayed, so it departs tomorrow (11/5). I'm not happy, I was supposed to have been on the ship that left a week ago then magically wasn't.
Am jealous of those on the east coast. Looking at the schedule mine ships Friday and will make landfall on the 27th so I figure it will be at the Concord dealership the first week of December. Impatience thread indeed.
I'm right with you Burnstar. I think I might have to wait a week to pick it up, since that will be right before my finals!!!
Good news -- the Fedora is now underway! She left Southampton at about 8 PM local time, and is now passing the Isle of Wight. She's about a day late leaving port, but one day late is better than two! ETA in Halifax is 6 AM on 11/11. On the image you can see the call sign for tracking her across the Atlantic, SLKU.

Where did you get that map info? I would love to see that
xudisco07, http://www.ais-live.co.uk/aismap/AIS...uthampton.html, although the Fedora is now almost out of range. Samsonary's link above also works; click the Vessels tab and you can find your ship that way until it gets into the Atlantic, and then again once it reaches the eastern coast of North America. Inbetween you may be able to watch it on http://www.sailwx.info/. Those heading for the Panama Canal can look forward to webcams at the locks.

Is yours on the Fedora, too?
Thanks, yes I am on the Fedora, waiting for it to arrive in NY!
I just entered my VIN into the W&W website and found that mine is booked on the TOMAR, set to sail tomorrow. I'll use the tracking website to check the progress as it makes it's way to Port Hueneme. VERY COOL!

Hi all! I was told by ASKMINI that I was week 43, but it looks like my little guy is also heading home on the TOMAR with his brothers and sisters on here. Am really, really hoping to have my bundle of joy home by the weekend of 12/4. TOMAR is scheduled for Port Heuneme on 11/27 I believe. Any idea how long before actual pick-up at the dealer might happen? I think my options are all factory installed if that matters.
Here's to happy and safe travels this next month!

I think that since our vehicles come into port at Heuneme, it depends where you are. My dealer is Concord, so it will take a little more time for my baby to be trucked up, instead of going to one of the many dealers in the LA area. Our MINIs also spend some time at the VDC, and that time depends on the condition of your MINI as it arrives.
Good luck waiting!

Oh phooey, looks like the Tomar is delayed. Was supposed to leave today but the WW site shows it moved to tomorrow. And here I was all set to watch it chug out of the harbor today.
I looked this morning, and the Fedora hasn't been visible on the sailwx site since leaving the English Channel. But we should be able to see her on the marinetraffic site linked above as she approaches Halifax sometime tomorrow. Are we excited yet???
My dealer called last weekend to tell me that Vera is scheduled to arrive in Omaha on Friday, 11/20. Yay!!
The Fedora has reached North America! She's currently moored at Halifax, according to marinetraffic.com and the Port of Halifax website. C'mon, girl, get going! You need to be in NY tomorrow!
Toot toot! The Fedora left Halifax a couple of hours ago. She's now scheduled to reach NY sometime after midnight on 11/14. Oh well, the NJ VDC closes for the weekend at 2 PM on Fridays, so they probably wouldn't have started to process our little ones anyway. Let's hope we're first in line on Monday!!
I could be wrong, but a ship that looks like it very well could be the Tomar is taking its sweet time passing through the Gatun locks in the Panama Canal at this very moment. Image isn't clear enough for me to get a look at the ship's name yet but it certainly matches the pics of the Tomar, and this is approximately when it was supposed to be there, so...
