Talked to our good friends at MINI USA today, week 27 it is (for now). Come one, come all, the first week of July production! Maybe your MINI will be born on the 4th of July!
Ordered a Clubman S, Hot Choc/Black, Tuscany Leather and a handful of options.
We ordered on 5/22... was just checking out some other threads Week 18 and Week 19 are starting to pick up MINIs at dealers now, I think one Week 20 as well. It looks like if you are on the East Coast you get your MINI 3 to 4 weeks after the production date (depending on the boat/port/etc.).
Ok I emailed my MA and he told me my car was scheduled for production in a week or two and then it will be 6 weeks or so. I guess the soonest I could expect it would be the week of July 20th :( So I guess I'm going to have to wait the full 8 weeks, sigh. :( So I guess I'm not a week 27
My MA contacted me and I have been moved from week 29 production to week 27 production! Evidently they are speeding up the production of the clubmans!
So Mini017701 and everyone else out there, keep on wishing and clicking your red high heels together three times and your wish of production being moved up a week or two just may happen!

Maybe the bump has to do with when you ordered it? I ordered mine in mid-May, if Warev has been waiting since April, that deserves a bone from MINI ahead of the likes of me.
Where you order has as much (or more) to do with it than where. Talk to the washington people ordering clubmans. They have a wait list at the dealer to get ordered from Mini.
jamz I noticed quite a few from CA have a quick flip from order date to production date like yours - the West Coast always gets cool things ahead of the East Coast - though, the boat takes longer to get there, when does the Rigoletto arrive in port?
Welcome BDHender! U won't have as long of a wait as others here.....
Is week 27 ever going to get here? I can't wait to start obscessing about nautical miles and such!

ok so my production week was 24 but the nice lady at ASK MINI couldn't give me a delivery week. I'm not sure how all of these weeks things work or what they mean.

MINI COOPER 08 BRG/ B/Black stripes, auto, sirius, alarm, premium and convenience package. Ordered 05/24/08--> Delivered 7/21/08
A few of us in week 27 called into MINI USA automated system and got an updated status of scheduled for production, but no date. Better than 'on-order', but not real sure what it means. Will report back with findings.
I just realized that I'm going to be out of town visiting my sister in DC during the potential birth of my perfect mini! I don't know if that is good or bad! If I can access the internet, then it will be ok......
That is if the strike in Spain doesn't push our builds back a week or so.

Placed my order for "Bob" yesterday (6/14) and was told week 27. Originally was expecting a week 29 build. Hope this holds true. Like Minipsych, I'm a little worried about the Spanish strike. Hope it doesn't push things back too much.
