Took some new pics

I picked up my first Mini last Monday ('05 MCS) and I love it! I should have got one way sooner Anyway, I just got done spending about 4 to 5 hours using MeguiarsShampoo, Clay Bar, Polish, and NXT Wax and thought I would share the results.

Very Nice ! I like the color. The clay bar sure does wonders doesn't it although I'm not a huge fan of the NXT. Maguires cleaner wax is where its at.

Thanks. I am debating on whether to stripe it, since the paint looks so nice. This is the first time I have used NXT. I have read so many differing posts about wax favorites that I just decided to choose that one. I might go back to the carnauba one next time. If nothing else, at least it smells nice when you apply it.

Yah! It looks great! I really like the interior, and how the colors tied in. Ive been thinking bout actually taking apart my interior and color matching (even though thats not really what were looking at on this thread).

Nice color!, Oh and definatelly stripe it! Im going to take mine off and redo them in white. i think it would stand out more agressive then the silver. Although The white may not look as good on the black roof as the silver. hmmm decissions decissions.

although the black looks great against the silver, it will get lost on the laser blue. i had a charcoal gry color for the lettering on mine, and you couldnt even see it. youll need to go with a lighter color in order to be able to see it.

Zowie!

Nice job.

Just spent 3 hours doing the same thing to my "00 Honda CRV in preparation of trading her in for a Clubman.

Hope the effort helps the resale value.
