according to WW the ship left yesterday and my vehicle was 'loaded'! Very exciting! It seems the boat has gone under the radar now. It makes me nervous wondering if my kid is ok

The long wait begins..... but I feel better now that the trip has begun. I feel closer to my baby already. Does the initial "break-in" oil from the factory include a small amount of dramamine?
When is the projected Panama arrival and the west coast arrival?

That was awesome!!!
The girl's face throughout shows just how fun / freaked out she was.
Looked better then any thrill ride I've ever been on.
Where do I sign up to learn how to drive like that?

If the captain does not use the weather reporting system you will not be able track Tagus. Once she is near land at the Panama Canal, they you will be able to track her on the aisfree.aislive.com sight. Also the canal has two live web cams on the locks, which work rather well.

Thanx but still waiting, OL had it scheduled for delivery to dealer on the 11th and changed to the 13th. But still waiting, once at the VDC it impossible to know exactly what is going on.
If you need links to any of the pages for tracking thru the canal let me know, good luck on the trek.

Well, this is anticlimatic!! Why did we get the captain that doesn't report his position so we can track it! I wonder if our naughty minis had anything to do with this. What happens on the TAGUS, stays on the TAGUS!!

Rain Rain Go Away

Hopefully this doesn't turn into a Thing.

Even if it does turn into a storm, I think our boat has a good chance of coming in behind it...

/me crosses fingers.

Oh no! Perhaps this is part of their training, so they can handle all those hills and curves when we start driving them!

Mini shower registry

Now that we are all in this information "black hole" of the Atlantic Ocean, I've begun to prepare for my baby's arrival. While friends giggle and say I'm expecting, they are NOT throwing me any showers but if they were.... What would you put on your registry?

I'm already getting the sexy rubber floor mats with my MSRP purchase.
I'm driving straight away to put on the Clear Bra.

The things that have looked interesting, but I might wait until arrival are:
* Rubber boot mat
* Plastic bag clip for the boot area that keeps them from falling over
* Glove box organizer
* Windshield sun shade
* Vinyl sticker for the visor that covers the airbag notification
* Some Prima products for exterior care
* At least one filter, sockets and drain pan for that post break-in home oil change

Any other ideas or things you are considering?

I'm curious about the Klasse products.
Definitely some Snap-On tools for a basic tool kit.
Ditto the oil change, windshield, boot mat stuff and floor mats.
Since I'm having 0 luck with a cool personalized plate, (never wanted one before!) I might have to get those cute little metalic letters that Tigwantstoplay has on her red mini.
