Just wanted to let everyone know the deal is done ...MCS Lightning Blue w/black stripes,roof and mirrors. Sport and Prem packages with the sport suspension and limited slip deff, 6spd manual. I was told 2nd week of Sept so its not too far away. I cant wait and will update again when its in my hands!

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I live north of boston and i'm going to be ordering a new LiB MCS very soon. I've been a fan of minis since i was a little kid because my parents came from Portugal and my Dad raced minis while he was there. I currently own a 2004 dodge srt-4 that i'll be trading in to get the mini. I was originaly going to get a mini when i bought the dodge, but i've never been a fan of superchargers. So as soon as i found out that the new minis were turbo charged i started pitching the idea to the wife .
Well, just wanted to say hi and i'll update once i get details from the dealer. Oh...and i'm ordering it from Mini of Peabody in case anyone was wondering.
I've been meaning to make it up to Lowell to check out a hot dog place I saw on TV. I forget the name, is there an obvious institution that it must have been?

congrats! I hope an MCS finds it's way into your garage. I too made the decision based on the 2nd. Gen. revisions. I'm selling my '04 Impreza STi when it arrives.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that wants to get rid of thier SRT for a Mini The difference between us is I would rather have the s/c. It's all good though, to each thier own I guess.
