MINI Convertible washing help

Proud New Mini S 2007 convertible owner here! Loving every minute of it, hard to stay in the office and not head out and take a quick drive...

I have some questions about proper care of the rag top. Any suggestions beyond what the owners manual offers? Specifically, any products and procedures that you have found for cleaning and also for treating the top?

Briefly, don't use soap on it, water is fine of course. Vacuum it before you wash the car if it looks dusty. You can go a while before using the special fabric products. Look at Ragtop, 303 when you get ready to do that.
