Proud Parent of a 2007 Cool Blue Cabrio...

I've been lurking around NAM for a while now -- I've been desperate for my regular MINI "fixes" since even before I placed my order. I waited to make a proper introduction post until I took delivery of my Cabrio.

As of Friday, though, I am an official MINI owner and I couldn't be any happier. Just 25 days after I placed my order, my MA called me up to say that Milly had arrived at the dealership.

The mod bug has already bitten: I'm starting small, but in the last few days I've installed the DICE iPod kit & the multivex side mirrors. I'm also in the process of ordering some custom grille badges from Toddsmods. Bigger changes are sure to follow...

A few photos from delivery day:

I passed 20+ fellow motorers here in Westchester, NY over the weekend, but I'm still awaiting my first wave of aknowledgement. Then again, MINIs are practically the standard around here, so the novelty of waving may be out of vogue in these parts.

Congrats on the new ride. If you have some time come join www.NEMINI.org We have lots of members in the Westchester area. One of my close friends from the club lives in Dobbs (he drives a BRG MCSC) but just left the country for 2 months, so you won't see him driving aorund.

scratch the part about the disinterested MINI drivers in my area. I passed a 3-MINI caravan on my way to lunch this afternoon and got a smile and a wave from each car...
