Hello :)

So I don't own a MINI yet. But I will very shortly. I'll be ordering by the end of the week.

So now I've been scouring the web for every bit of MINI info I can find

Right now I'm looking at the following:

======================================
My 2007 MINI Cooper S
paint
Black Roof/Mirrors
Lightning Blue Body Color
White Turn Signals

package
Sport Package
Dynamic Stability Control
Front Fog Lamps
Xenon Headlamps w/Power Wash
17" Crown-Spoke (Performance)
Black Bonnet Stripes

performance
Sport Suspension
Front Fog Lamps
Limited Slip Differential
6-Speed Getrag Manual

cockpit
Sport Seats
On-Board Computer
6-spkr AM/FM CD Player
Center Arm Rest
Anthracite Headliner
Leather: Punch Carbon Black
Interior Surface Checkered
3-Spoke Leather Steering Wheel

I've gone from all black to black and blue

Planned Mods
Custom Stereo Install
Carbon Fiber OR Black Hood Scoop
Powder Coat My Wheels Black
Short Antenna
Vanity Plate

I haven't decided if it is a boy or a girl. So I'm still thinking of name ideas.

My Mini is now off to the 4 dealerships within 500 miles of me. Whoever can give me the best price and time ratio wins

I'll update this thread when I learn more.

Sounds great. You didn't ask for advice, but here's my 2 cents. I don't know what the standard stereo is like, but I find the HIFI disappointing. I like to listen loud and the speakers can't handle it, although at low(er) volume, the sound is decent. I went with the cloth/leather seat combo and think it is well worth it. Good luck!

Maybe I'll save the 550 dollars and do a custom audio install myself then.

Consider the anthracite headliner for a more uniform look, since you have a dark car and the base dark interior trim/seats. I'm still kicking myself because I didn't get it! Also, take a long hard look at the hyper sport body kit to make sure you like it, as it's not the same as the JCW kit.

Welcome. You mechanical car is hot. Your style stuff sounds good too. You might think about the stock wheels and then just replacing them, rather than painting them. Go cool, but go light too. For my part, leather is the only thing to sit on . . . personnal preference but when everything else is so sharp, don't but if your butt.

Yeah the lounge leather is an extra 400 dollars i'm not sure I want to spend. I also do not like how smudgy the piano black panels get.

So the carbon punch leather was as close as I get.

I don't think I can get a cooper s in oxygen blue. hehe.

I narrowed my choices down to blue or red.

I flipped a coin and blue won
