Poll: Miles on your MINI During Dragon?

Hello. We added about 1,200 wonderful miles travelling to, from and at MOTD. Our journey began in Atlanta, GA. How many miles did you clock, start to finish, or during the weekend? Happy motoring...

It's just over 400 miles to the Dragon from my place in west central Ohio, so that totalled over 800 miles in itself. While we were there, we added another 400 or so miles via our driveabouts in the area. I'd say 1200 miles roughly was our total and this is based on 4 total fillups [one when we started down from Ohio, one in Maryville, TN, just before heading to the Dragon, one in Tellico Plains, TN, and one in Alcoa, TN, yesterday morning]. I still have over a quarter of a tank left from that last fillup in Alcoa.

MOTD Mileage may not count...

We drove from Greenville, South Carolina to the Fontana resort and it was a total of 150 miles each way plus around 400 miles while there.
The only catch to our to trip to the see the dragon was that we were unable to make it in our Mini, so we drove a PT-Cruiser (Budget Rental) instead.
We had a great time taking pictures and videos of Minis from all over the US and Cananda.
It was such a great time in fact that my daughter and I have already booked
our reservations for next years MOTD 08.
Next year we will be in our Mini and ready to roll with everyone else on the Dragon.
The PT-Cruiser was OK, but it would have been a thousands times more fun
in our sun-tanning machine.
I'll post some of my pictures soon, so check to see if you see your Mini there.

If you missed this years "Mini's on the Dragon" make sure you make next years... There's nothing like the sight of hundreds of Minis' everywhere you look.

Hope to see everyone there next year..

Dave and daughter Katarina...
