I'm new to the forum.I purchased a Cooper in Dec.,have since become a rabbid Mini devotee.I attended AMVIV(great cuz I'm in Vegas). The best news is I now own an '05 MCSA-BRG.Let the mods begin! It would be great to hear from other MCSA owners who have travelled the Mod. trail.

Congratulations! Besides the suspension(rear anti-sway), tire, brake, and wheel mods, The automatic does great with a reduction pulley (17%) and CAI. The engine sits a little higher than the manual and there can be a high pitched whine not related to the supercharger due to the CAI. With those mods a JCW ecu flash from the dealer does great. I recently changed my exhaust and things are less smooth now. I'll probably get a head and cam (for more torque, not hp) before a custom tune.
Welcome. I started off modding my '05 auto by installing a CAI, 15% pulley, and colder plugs. The wheels and runflats came off next replacing them with aftermarket rims and non-runflat tires. Anti-rear sway bar was added, then the catback, ECU tune, ... can't stop sliding down this slippery mod slope. Good luck.
Welcome !!! I love my 05 MCSa...and I'm awed by some of the mods mentioned here...all I did was install an i-pod adaptor, armrest, and stubby antenna !!! WooHoo!!!...as they say, Happy Motoring
