Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

I just walked in the door from MINIs in the Mountains and I just wanted to thank everyone who came to our first major event at Copper Mountain. Those of you who came from all over the country and the local MINIs are the ones who made this event a success.

It was also great to have a chance to meet the people behind the companies that support the MINI and Mini community. I think our vendor turn out was wonderful for our first year and I want to thank all the vendors who made the trip and those who supported us from afar.

I enjoyed seeing people that I had met before at AMVIV (yes even you AGRO) and meeting new people as well. I hope you all had a GREAT time and will join us again next year . Until then Happy and safe motoring and I'll see you on the byways.

! MINI and Mini owners are the coolest people I know !

I'll second Jayme's thanks to all our attendees and vendors! Everyone was so great, you made it a pleasure. Please be sure to fill out our survey when it's available, so we can work on making next year's event even better!

Great Job!!!

I want to thank all the organizers and volunteers for a job well done. Everyone who attended made this a weekend to remember and I vow to get more involved in the future in making more of these events possible.

I have never seen so many great looking MINIs in one place. The time, effort and ingenuity that went into some of these cars is amazing! I"ve got a lot of work ahead of me....

The Craven Speed team is back home in Oregon! Many thanks to everyone for the best weekend possible. We were so happy we could be there to be a part of MITM and we were proud to bring our Pacific Northwest rain along with us. All of you (and the rain) made us feel right at home.

One GIANT thumbs UP ! ! ! ! ! !

We too made home yesterday evening safe and sound a little tired but full of wonderful memories. Memories made possible by Mini5280/Vendors/Copper Mountain/and of course ALL of you that made the event. We had some breathtaking rides (thank Jim for leading us around for two days). Wonderful food and many many new friends that we hope to see again next year.

Thanks again

JD & Kristi

or something real close? I plan on going back before next year. The mountains are always there. Just short some MINIs. But I am sure I can find a couple in Colorado to join.

We made it home in the correct number of pieces. Next year, I'm going to take at least 1 extra day off work and do a few more drives while I'm there. And maybe upgrade my brakes beforehand. Now I know what brake fade feels like.

Thanks to all the organizers, vendors and attendees. This was our first MINI/Mini event and it was a blast. Next year we'll have to take more time off so we get a day to do the scavenger hunt and a day to get in on some group rides.

Counting down the days until next year's MITM.

I had a great time! I can't believe how well organized it was...especially for a first time event! No doubt it will be even bigger in future years! For those who could not make it, try to next year - you will not regret it! Can't wait for next year!!

We had a great time, even despite our navigator (my lovely wife ) taking us on Leadville run #2 when we all signed up for Leadville run #1. That's a chance we all take when a "flatlander" leads. Anyways, this was an experience we won't soon forget. Beautiful scenery, great people and a well run event. If it schedules out well next year, we'll be there again and perhaps even with more than just one other Chicago MINI in tow. We have a few good pics and will post them up as soon as we figure out how.

And remember, "its not a car, its a cult." Thanks again. John & MB.

Got re-hydrated (rained on), got striped (thanks Aesthetic Creations) and got a new set of eyes (cheers Stoopid Girl). Got to meet some great people, do some fun rides and eat some good food. What else could one want . Oh and got to spend a very nice night indeed (sans kids) with the spouse -

Looking forward to next year's MITM.

Just got back home with no problems, incidents, or tickets. I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed being with all of you. It was a big undertaking for the Colorado Club and they came through with flying colors! I also want to extend my thanks to everyone who had anything to do with this event including all the great vendors and sponsors. I hope Schomp MINI knows what a jewel they have in Shelley. Most MINI owners are the friendliest people on earth. They accept you no matter what age you are or what you look like. I for one am proud to be able to call myself a part of the MINI familly. Jonathan & Rick, and all your helpers, you are fabulous. I am already looking forward to next year. WE WILL BE THERE!

Betty, Gene, & Jon

P.S. One of the greatest anniversaries we have ever had! THANKS!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for a great weekend and fantastic time in Copper Mtn. The 5280 club did a fantastic job organizing the event. This was my first major MINI event and I sure plan on many more in the future. Can't wait for MITM 2007 too. Also, thanks to all the vendors that attended for their support. A very special Thanks to Ralph Schomp MINI for their support and wonderful door prizes. Even though I didn't win anything, I didn't come home empty handed. Hope to see everyone there again next year. I'll remember all the great people I met from all over the country.

Hey, the thanks go to all the MINI-Heads like yourselves

who come to our events and hang out and have fun. If anything, we should thank you for having gone way out of your way, having given your time, and having supported our cause.

I am sure I speak for all of the other organizers and volunteers when I say that we are grateful for your attendance, we are delighted that you had fun, and we truly want to see you again, with a group of friends.

In the very near future we will announce dates for what no doubt will be "MITM II / Back to the Mountains" and we would love to have you all.

Thanks again for making ours a great event!! Please be sure to post your links to your pictures....
