MINI Auto-Up circuits at MITM from GBMINI and Ian Cull!

Yes, it is true. What has long been rumored is now for fact: GBMINI will have some of their in-demand Auto-Up circuits at MITM for giveaway to YOU!

Yes, there will be two (2) of the "Auto-up and Track Mode DSC" circuits raffled off. This circuit solves the annoyance of having to hold your finger on the toggle switch to put the window all the way up. The circuit works in all MINI models including convertibles. Installation instructions are on Ian's web page...

Want more information? Go to www.gbmini.net

Please go to Ian's website for more information....or post here with your questions. Our hope is that you see the value in this $48 device and order yours NOW for shipping to MITM. Yes, you can order so please do.

Thanks,

Jonathan

I'll volunteer to bring my torx screwdriver and help with (or do) installs of these for people who want help.

If you'ld install it for me, I'ld actually buy one. My fear of breaking my new car keeps me from doing it.

Sold me.

Send one for Jonathan. Let me know if you want me to pay online now, send check, or do PayPal.

I trust Agro to install mine, will give him ice cold beverages for the effort, besides which - - I know where he lives.

Ian, when you ship them, can you drop me a PM and let me know if any are GDO models? That way I'll know if I need to bring wire/solder as well as the torx.

So far, I think I've installed about 15, including the 2 different ones in my car.

Mmmmm...beverages....none of that generic coors/bud crap, mind you! I'm something of a beer snob.

Most microbrews are decent. Anything with flavour works.

Andrew,
I shipped today two of the track mode DSC version, for MITM to raffle / auction / whatever.
I'm rather confused by all this stuff about "sold me", etc.

I am the one who said that...

I will go online to buy mine and pay that way. If it arrives for install by AGRO, so much the better.

Thanks,

Jonathan

Hey, Ian--Your web site says the circuit works for 05 and earlier. Will it work on an 06 MCS? As in, is your site out of date, or am I out of luck?

Thanks in advance!

You can drink as much of my brother's beer as you like, if you install it for me. He is also a beer snob.

What is the ship time on these bad boys? I would hate to order it, and not have it get to me intime for MITM.

The MINI circuit works on '06 as well - there was a big re-design for the '05 hence the note, but the '06 is basically identical to the '05 (except some colors)
Maybe I should update the site anyway!

Shipping of the standard up-only and track mode DSC variants is generally same day if I get the order early enough, and I ship priority mail which is probably 3 days to your part of the country.

Thanks, Ian! I just ordered one. Re: the different colors--there wasn't a place to say what model year I have during checkout. Do you need that info? If so, the order just placed (1PM on Friday) to Natick, MA is for a 2006 MCS. Give a holler if you need more info.

Can't wait! I've never even dreamed of modifying a car before; not sure how far I'll take it with the MINI, but I'm excited (though a little nervous) for the install. I've heard it's easy; I'll be very proud if I do it myself...and very nervous about not breaking anything in my new baby!

Ian, I just ordered mine

feel free to ship normally. If I miss AGRO at MITM I will just have to read the instructions myself, or if not, I will call Rick Gonzales who seems to be a genius at all things electrical.

Blood on my hands....03 MCS

I'm not sure if I'll be ordering one yet. Will you have extras one hand for purchase at MITM??

As a supporter of the MINI community

Ian has kindly donated two auto-up circuits to the event, to be placed in our raffle. The winners will be drawn.

AGRO (Andrew Ross) from Sin City MINIs has also kindly offered to bring his Torx wrenches to install them for the lucky winners, at no charge.

This is the kind of thing we have come to expect of our community. In turn and in support, many of us will choose to order the circuits on our own. If they arrive in time for the event, so much the better since Agro will be there. If not, Ian has placed installation instructions on his site for all to use.

Please do place your order with Ian. Support him in support of us, as he is in this for both pleasure (I am sure) and for remuneration. Well, at least for the pleasure.

Jonathan

Well, I just (5 mins ago) installed one of these circuits in a 2006 MCS. No problem. The car is 1 week old. Didn't even rip up my hand on the solder this time.

MINIs after 04 don't even require a torx screwdriver if you do the "blind install" method which is the only way I've ever done it.

Blue Baby:
All MINIs (up to 2006) have the same circuit - no worries.
If you get too worried about installing it, we might be able to meet at MINI of Peabody some time ... I'm there sometimes ;)
