Watch this space for an important announcement....MINIature Trailers at MITM!
Brent Breon of www.miniaturetrailers.com will be offering up a superior gift for MITM attendees! Details are being finalized but suffice it to say, you will want to have this one!
That sounds great John. I've been trying to figure out what to do for bicycles as well as for those trips where the MINI just isn't big enough. I just got back from a 3000 mile trip to Northern California in our Saab . . . which is a fine and fun car . . . but just not the MINI.
Not only will MiniatureTrailers join us, but Russell from MINIFINI will too, they of the SportLink. You may wish to check his thread right here in MITM Forums...he will have stuff and can install for you too at MITM.
Note that both vendors offer distinct products. MINIFINI uses the link setup, thru the bumper. MT uses a trailer hook thru the fog light. Both work, both offer differences, both are useful.
Please check both out online now, contact them for discussion if you like, and they can help you better than I...
Thanks. I've looked at their sites and will again.
I think I'll also search the forums to see how much sportiness is lost towing small trailers. I can get to MINI oriented events without a trailer . . . it is being able to use the MINI for other trips which involve more than 2 persons for some stretches and items being transported (for example, a chainsaw to California, Olive Oil and Wine back from California). I do have a request to bring New Mexican Chiles to the Lost Coast on our next run out there . . . I suppose I could hang a ristra from the rear view mirror . . . .
I would love one of these. I had one on my jeep for like 8 years, and I got very used to moving dirt and bricks and things round. My garden is lacking now that I will not put dirt in my sweet MINI.
A stack of tires on the way to AutoX or the track, a pile of logs to smoke BBQ with out back, Grandma in her Rocking Chair, many cases of beer, a dead deer, buffalo or elk, etc.
You can use your imagination. Any other suggestions from our readers??
Reach my builder here http://lassenviewcustoms.teardrops.net/ His name is Mike. He is North of you. Shingletown, CA. If you have other questions please feel free to PM me.
