Ride #7 - The Continental Divide Run

Ride # 7 (not #2) is one of the most scenic....

The Continental Divide Run -- Copper Mountain Resort, around Lake Dillon, to Keystone Resort, past Arapahoe Basin Resort, and up Loveland Pass to the Continental Divide. Then home on I-70 thru Eisenhower Tunnel. 65 miles, this ride is short but fun. Loveland Pass is 11,990 ft high and great for pictures. 4 ski resorts, 1 Divide, 1 Pass. Stop in Dillon for lunch or return to Copper Mountain Resort for yet another ride.

A few sample pictures from the ride

Just a small sampling of what awaits you on this particular drive... possibly a bit less snow in August though! More samples later.

The other side of the pass

And here's what you can see once you reach the pass and beyond...
