Where to eat at MitM?

As you know from our agenda, the only scheduled meals at MitM this year are the sponsor's dinner (Ralph Schomp MINI) on Friday night, and the supporter's dinner (we have many) on Saturday night. In the meantime as you go out on your rides Motoring, we wanted to begin a list of notable eateries throughout Colorado, that you may enjoy. We will post information on eateries that you will find on, near or around our 11 planned rides. However, if YOU know of a good place in Colorado - anywhere along our routes - PLEASE post here. We will share with you if you....well, you get it.

The Tommyknocker Brewpub, Idaho Springs, CO

The Tommyknocker Brewpub is one of two very well known eateries in town. Large and spacious, the pub offers fantastic food fare (my favorite are the jumbo hot wings) but notable are the fantastic home brews. Among the local faves are the Maple Nut Brown Ale (delicate hint of maple syrup), Ornery Amber Ale (rich ruby color, crisp finish, my personal favorite), Pick Axe Pale Ale (English Pale Ale with a bitter finish from the dry hops), Jack Whacker Wheat Ale (refreshing aroma and citrus flavor), Tundarbeary Ale (tart and refreshing with raspberries and blueberries), Alpine Glacier Lager (clean, fresh and icy), Butt Head Bock (award winning doppelbock with 8.2% alc and hints of caramel and chocolate malt) and finally the Imperial Nut Brown Ale (with maple syrup and chocolate malts). www.tommyknocker.com

As always, please drink responsibly.
