Has anyone else done this?

I'd been thinking about all sorts of camera mounts for my car and wanted something that would shoot forward through the windshield. I found the perfect solution and it's cheap too.

The papertowell is there to raise the back of the camera slightly to give a better view forward. It works remarkably well although it seems the stereo (factory H/K) vibrates the parcel shelf slightly (I'm sure my music selection didn't help). My test run last night:
