Clay Bar Remove Overspray?

Have some overspray on my new MINI. Used a razor blade to get it off the windshield. Did well no blade scratches on the glass. I used the sandwhich baggy trick that Heather told us about to feel how rough the paint is. Holy mackeral, it was unbelievable. A couple of my friends could not believe it either. Will the clay bar take the overspray off the paint before I buff/pc it?
