Slick is fine for use over natural waxes, though a Carnauba based QD would probably help your top coat last longer. If you are set on top coating the synthetic wax with Carnauba, perhaps you should look at a spray on wax to help your top coat last longer. Once it stops adhering, you know it is time to either switch to Hydro or re-apply your Carnauba again.
Merits - some say they like the looks of the natural waxes better, while some (like myself) prefer the long lasting qualities of the synthetic waxes.
