I have a clear bra on my '06 Pepper white Cooper, and what I've noticed is that all of the areas below the front bumper (splitter? spoiler? whatever) are intricate enough that there are always small areas of paint not covered by the clear-bra material. Those areas develop chips. They're so small and the area relatively inconcpicuous, so that using the little bottle of touch-up paint & clear coat from the dealer works ok - but i wouldn't want to use it up on the nose and leading part of the hood. On those areas the clear bra has saved a lot of chipping that would have been very noticeable.
