MINIs in Motion

I've noticed quite a few people here are figuring out ways to get photos of their Mini in motion. There are plenty of others here who are great at taking photos of cars at the race track. I'd like to kick off a thread where people can post dynamic photos of a Mini and also discussion of how to create a motion photo.

I'll start with photos from a Maverick MINIs run. If you're in the S.F. Bay Area, you've got to join us on a run!

Example of my freaky orangutang arm triggering a cable release (forgot to turn the self timer back on ):

Fine print: Speed limits were observed! Motion in these photos is due to 1/2 second or longer shutter speeds. Aperature priority mode set to f/16 and used a fisheye lens. A 1" boxed steel rod with rubber end caps was bolted to the rear seat mount hooks. Tripod head was bolted in center of steel bar. ~$15 material cost from OSH. YMMV

Got Twisties???
For every ounce of gas saved by a Toyota Pious, a gallon is wasted by the 20 cars behind it desperately attempting to pass because the typical Pious is driven by what appears to be a stoned, nearsighted geriatric who's also lost and confused and allergic to g-forces higher than .01 just to gain an extra 2 MPG. (paraphrased)
