painting chips AFTER Zaino'ing
yesterday I put on one coat of Z 5 and then 2 coats Z 2 on my chili red. I noticed while I was buffing off the first coat that there were a few very little chips on the bonnet, with the white primer visible, but since there was already that one coat of zaino on, I decided to finish the process and applied the other 2 coats of Zaino. The chips are not visible unless your eyes are a foot from the car, so painting them would be for protection to avoid rust, not for appearance sake.
question 1) will zaino seal out moisture so these little chips will not rust, or at least let me wait until springtime to attend to them?
question 2) to apply paint to the chip, do I need to remove the Zaino in the chip or can I apply the little drop of paint on top of the zaino? how? I'm thinking that since zaino has no silicone then a dot of paint on zaino would be OK
Note: the chips are small, meaning that to hit the chips with paint, I am planning to apply the paint with a point of a toothpick
