The photo was taken at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Parhump, NV during AMVIV 2008. This photo was taken during the Phil Wicks North American MINI Cooper Challenge race. The car had gone off track earlier and was showing some damage in addition to being dirty.

A lonely field in the center of Germany.

This picture was taken one hour after the car was purchased. It was myself and a friend who wanted to see what the car can do on the open roads in Somers, NY.

In our vacations with a couple of friends at Cape Hatteras, Natalie and I went on a photoshoot ride where we captured a lot of really nice photos of our MINIs.

Also shot in October of 2008 in downtown Columbus, Ohio on a gray, cloudy afternoon. I was driving around looking for a good place to shoot, and I saw the peeling, green door down an alley and backed in. Just as I did, the sun broke through the clouds and remained shining just long enough for me to shoot about a dozen quick snaps while lying in the street. As soon as I was done, the sun went back in and did not come out again for the rest of the day.

Every year, they plant fields of sunflowers adjacent to this park. Later, when they’re in full bloom, they make a maze out of the sunflowers, which is great fun for families. The sunflowers also provide a unique and scenic backdrop for aspiring automobile photographers.

I took the image in a driveway leading away from a highway. About 5 minutes away from Airdrie, Alberta.

I shot this in my driveway on Halloween, 2008. The image is a recreation of 2007's Honorable Mention picture, which featured Nano, a hot orange 2006 Cooper S Cabrio. The car is an 02 Cooper owned by Steve Rosenblum, President of Chicago Mini Motoring Club whom we affectionately call Mr. Rosenmini. Lena and myself (Vice President of CMMC) were behind him with 40+ MINI's following each other to Starved Rock, Illinois at our clubs Fall Colors Rock Run 10/26/08. It was very windy and the leaves were blowing wildly on the road. Through the windshield from inside our car, we took the shot. There were several, but this one really captured the moment.

Photo taken at an Historic Pub/Country Club in Portland, Oregon called 'Sweet Tibbie Dunbar's'. This is an all original 1962 Austin 850 Mini Countryman Woody Wagon which the new MINI Clubman was fashioned after.
